Reusable Cup Washing Factory in Sydney, NSW, Australia
- Plastic Cups don’t dry like glass.
- If you stack a plastic cup for more than 24 hours it will start to grow mould.
- How do you wash and dry more than 10,000 cups per hour?
These are just some of the challenges we faced when we started Globelet in 2012. We went to some of the worlds most advanced dishwashing companies that supply some of the worlds largest catering companies and even they could not help us.
So what did we do?
WE INVENTED DRYING SYSTEMS THAT CAN DRY REUSABLE PLASTIC CUPS AT SCALE
In our Better Future Factories, we can wash and dry reusable plastic cups at scale.
Without our world-class washing and drying machines that can wash and dry over 10,000 cups per hour per machine we would not be in business.
Our machines have become so popular that we now license the technology across the world to other reusable cup companies in France, Canada, and Germany. We are here to support the reusable revolution and supply events at the same scale as Globelet.
Without the state of the art drying machines it becomes a real concern when washing and drying reusable cups at scale, as it means we are unable to guarantee there is no mould in the cups. This has the effect of producing large health and safety concerns at major events especially if the weather is hot, and the cups will be stored for long periods of time in heat.
Mobile Dishwashing Truck for Events
To go along with our drying machines and to support more events we created mobile washing activations and trucks to service major events that needed to wash and dry 100,000+ cups onsite at their events. They have been used at festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival, and many other major events across Australia.
Globelet Mobile Washing Truck
The trucks hold one of our state of the art washing machines that uses very low water consumption and also holds one of our 10k per hour drying machines that can wash and dry cups at scale at the events.
Mobile Cup Washing Vans
For smaller events we can either send in one of our small mobile washing vans or ship a smaller washer on a pallet.
We prefer to have cups washed back at our better future factory, as this allows for the most environmentally friendly washing and drying solution that is less labour, water and electricity intensive.
