We are incredibly proud of the software our engineering team has developed to keep the overall system TURNing smoothly. The TURN application programming interface (API) enables enterprise users to keep track of all aspects of the system in real time, providing data on consumer numbers and engagement (measured via reTURNs and redemption of rewards), sustainability metrics (including water and energy consumption, waste diversion, and plastic use reduction), and overall system health. Our software makes things smooth and seamless for both consumers and enterprises. It’s a far cry from old school reuse systems that rely on cash deposits.

1.Consumers download the TURN mobile app and register for an accountTURN’s consumer app is engineered to be as user-friendly as possible. Once consumers have downloaded it, which takes less than 30 seconds, they can keep using it at different events and venues.

2.Consumers purchase items in TURN smart cupsWhen consumers buy a drink in one of our smart cups, TURN’s smart software records the transaction so both the consumer and enterprise can keep track of it.

3.Consumers view and redeem rewardsThe TURN app allows consumers to keep track of the rewards they’ve earned. Redeeming rewards is as simple as reTURNing to the distributing enterprise.

4.Consumers reTURN cups and get rewardsOnce finished with their drink, consumers take empty cups to a smart collection bin and scan their app. TURN’s smart software automatically sends a reward alert to the consumer.
